Freelance Copywriting Services

Out of the many roles I have taken on, being a writer gives me the most joy. While my professional journey has taken me places near and far, I am happy to start providing freelance copywriting services and freelance digital marketing for small businesses owners and startups. 

A little background:

My story really begins in 2015- three years after graduating from Umass Lowell with a double major in Psychology and English. I was feeling unfulfilled and yearning for adventure; so I packed a few suitcases and boarded a one-way ticket to Seoul, South Korea. Albeit challenging, starting over in a new country to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to school children was the best thing I ever could have done for myself.

While living abroad, I created a travel blog about my experience which ultimately got published in a Korean travel magazine, The Daegu Compass, due to SEO & social media promotion efforts. 

In addition to teaching ESL, I also helped students prepare for SAT/ACT & TOEFL standardized tests and assisted with college admissions essays. The opportunity allowed me to continue traveling and writing about my experiences. Utilizing web marketing techniques lead to freelance positions working with multiple organizations over the years. 

Prior to COVID-19, I worked at a big travel company in Boston for nearly 4 years; where I spent the final 2 years in the marketing department as a Video Content Specialist. Once COVID-19 swept the world in 2020 I, along with 7 million other people, was laid off. Due to an unfortunate accident, I spent 2020 recovering from reconstructive ACL and meniscus surgery, in lots of physical therapy appointments and learning how to walk again. At first it felt like the world was crashing down around me all at once. And while it truly was one of the hardest periods of my life, I still wouldn't change a thing looking back. 

For the first time in a very long time, I was able to slow down and focus on myself - what I actually wanted out of life vs forcing myself into a box that just never quite fit. A reoccurring theme for me has always been thriving in change and reinventing myself. I am thrilled to start this new chapter and provide freelance marketing services, copywriting services, and even start offering one-on-one tutoring via zoom.
